About the Position
Native Network is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead broadband and telecommunications projects serving Tribal Nations, public-sector organizations, and rural communities.
This is not a traditional project management role. Success requires more than maintaining schedules and project plans. The ideal candidate combines strong project management fundamentals with critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, customer relationship skills, and exceptional documentation discipline.
The Senior Project Manager serves as both project leader and trusted advisor, working closely with customers, engineering teams, and leadership to deliver successful project outcomes while building long-term stakeholder trust.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Leadership
• Lead projects through their full lifecycle.
• Develop and manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies.
• Proactively identify and resolve project challenges.
• Manage change requests and stakeholder expectations.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned Tribal and customer accounts.
• Build trusted relationships through proactive communication and follow-through.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer goals and priorities.
Communication & Documentation
• Facilitate productive meetings with clear decisions and action items.
• Produce accurate, audit-ready documentation and status reporting.
• Maintain organized project records and version control.
• Create professional reports, presentations, and customer deliverables.
REQUIRED CAPABILITIES
• Build trust with customers and stakeholders.
• Produce accurate, professional project documentation.
• Learn unfamiliar technical, operational, and customer environments quickly.
• Facilitate productive meetings and drive accountability.
• Identify risks and solve problems before they impact project outcomes.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years managing complex telecommunications, broadband, engineering, infrastructure, utility, public-sector, or related projects.
• Exceptional written communication and documentation skills.
• Experience managing customer relationships and executive communications.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to unfamiliar environments.
• Humility, curiosity, and a willingness to seek clarification when needed.
• PMP certification preferred but not required.
